Happy St Patrick's Day!

Happy St.Patrick's Day from the lads and lassies of PreK B!

It was wonderful to have a full week together with everyone and to make cute crafts to share with you!  We are all so happy that spring weather is moving in to Arkansas and we hope it is here to stay!
After turning ourselves into leprechauns, we decorated our windows with shamrocks.  We learned that St.Patrick used the shamrock to teach the Irish about the Holy Trinity.
We practiced our graphing skills by counting rainbows, gold, clovers, and leprechaun hats.  Everyone had fun using different color codes for each item and learning that bar graphs could have a horizontal orientation.
This week we had a special lesson from Taylor about the black bear cubs she got to see and hold on a trip with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.  She did a great job telling us all about her experience and all of her pictures were adorable!

I hope everyone has a wonderful spring break!

S is for Silhouette

S is by far my favorite letter study of the year because we create our silhouette paintings during this week!

Each child starts by painting their own watercolor background then adds their construction paper silhouette on top.  Such a simple project but I think they are so beautiful!

Can you pick out your child's silhouette below?
