Yesterday Mrs. Johnston's 4th grade class came for a visit and brought lots of wonderful books to read to us!
Each child is paired with a buddy from Mrs. Johnston's class and that buddy will come on the 4th Wednesday of every month to read to them.
Mrs. Roberson's 4th grade class will also be coming to read to us on the 2nd Wednesday of every month starting in September.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the kids to interact with older students they would not normally spend time with. Throughout the year the kids will write letters to one another, send special notes at holidays, and will really form a special friendship!
