The Luckiest Leprechaun of All

St. Patrick's Day was full of events for the Hoots of PreK B!

We started our morning off with a visit from college students who were speaking at the Parish Mission.

We enjoyed green juice with our green granola bars!

We talked about why we are lucky with our great friends and family and made our own Pots of God at the end of the Rainbow!
We made tissue paper shamrocks to hang from our ceiling.

We made leprechaun self portraits and wrote about why we are lucky.

We had a great day and I am the luckiest leprechaun of all to be the teacher of these wonderful kiddos!

We learned all about the letter V and made Volcanos for our Alphabet Journals.

We learned about the number 16.  The kids loved playing with the different manipulatives making different groupings of 16.

This week we also discussed places around our world we could visit.  We talked about the ocean, mountains, and the farm.  In spirit of our upcoming program we made cows.

They turned out so cute!

Jagger and Matilda both had birthdays over Spring Break, so we celebrated together a few days early.  Happy 5th you two!
