A is for Apple

This week as we continued our exploration of apples we began our letter, number, and color studies as we talked about one, red apple.

One fine motor activity we completed during the week was our apple cut project.  It's amazing what just a few scissor cuts can create, look at all of these awesome apples!

This week we learned about creating patterns.  We learned how to make AB, AAB, AABB, and ABC patterns.  On Friday we created an ABC pattern from Arkansas, Apple, and Award shapes.

This past week in PE we participated in two gross motor relay activities.  The first was a free throw relay, look at all of those sweet Hoots cheering on their team mates!

The second was a hula hoop step through relay.  We make such a great team!
